Madrone burl turning square 004 is a solid chunk of burl. The appearance displays “birdeye” to “muscling” figure with some lace on the flame cut side. Madrone burl turning square 004 is excellent for salt/pepper grinders, vases or urns. This large square is dense and its size lends itself to many applications. Insignificant natural imperfections, such as a bark inclusion or two and minor surface checking. This is a seasoned and stable piece, milled over 10 years ago, from a log with red heart.
