Stabilized western maple burl knife blank 29 with incredible color and character. This beautiful, longer and wider than average, blank has been fully stabilized with a clear acrylic resin and surfaced on four sides. Solid and sound with a great depth of tight burl figure and a color that ranges from a golden honey to a lighter tan. Few minor natural imperfections are often present and seen as the blank is surfaced. Bark inclusions and natural defects are inherent with all burl, and maple is no exception. These natural imperfections are great for mineral inlay/color epoxies, as fillers, and can also enhance the final book match pattern of the scaled pieces.

**  Please always review the specs and description to be sure the blank is the right one for your project.  **
